About This Event
Learn creative and practical ways to preserve your garden harvest and reduce food waste. This workshop will introduce participants to beginner-friendly preservation methods such as freezing, drying, fermenting, and simple pantry storage techniques. We will also discuss how to transition summer garden beds into productive fall spaces after crops are harvested. Participants will leave with ideas and inspiration for enjoying the abundance of the garden well beyond the growing season.
Presented in partnership with the Stouffville Library, Lake Simcoe Master Gardeners, and the Stouffville Legacy Fund.
Presented by Maria Shtemberg, Master Gardener, blogger, and unapologetically plant-obsessed.
