York Regional Police Launches New Website

York Regional Police has introduced a new website. The site is compliant with standards legislated by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. It includes user-activated translation and a live chat assistant.

The revamped website features a new media centre with a community blog and filterable media releases. New district pages provide news and information about municipalities and policing priorities.

The updated design aims for improved user experience with simplified menus and pages. The new site is optimized for mobile users and scales across different screen sizes. Chief Jim MacSween stated the new website reflects a commitment to continuous improvement and modernization, allowing community members to find information easily and quickly.
