York Regional Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred in Richmond Hill, involving multiple suspects and resulting in minor injuries to a homeowner.
York Regional Police are seeking multiple suspects following a home invasion in Richmond Hill. The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, just before 4:30 a.m., in the area of Hyde Park Drive and Red Oak Drive.
Three suspects reportedly forced entry into a residence by breaking a front window. At least one suspect was believed to be carrying a metal object. The homeowner was assaulted after confronting the suspects, sustaining minor injuries. No demands were made by the suspects.
The suspects then fled the residence and were last seen entering a black sport utility vehicle, driven by a fourth suspect. Descriptions were provided for two of the suspects: one male, Black, wearing a black hoodie and mask, armed with a metal object; and another male, Black, wearing a white or grey hoodie. No descriptions were obtained for the third and fourth suspects.
