Witnesses Sought After Shooting at Vaughan Club

York Regional Police are seeking witnesses following a shooting at a club in Vaughan. On Sunday, July 5, 2026, at approximately 2:20 a.m., police responded to reports of gunfire at a nightclub near Steeles Avenue and Scholes Road.
Officers determined an altercation occurred inside the club, leading to a female suspect being removed by security. Two male suspects then confronted security, and a firearm was brandished. One suspect discharged a firearm, striking an adult male victim. The suspects fled on foot, firing additional rounds toward the club. No other patrons were struck or sustained physical injuries.
The victim was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Police are appealing for public assistance in identifying three suspects. Suspect #1 is described as a Black male, 5’2” to 5’7” tall, approximately 20-years-old, with dreadlocks or braids, last seen in a white T-shirt, a baseball cap with a white letter “B,” and carrying a black satchel. Suspect #2 is described as a Black male, 5’4” to 5’9” tall, approximately 20 years old, with a small afro, last seen in a black jersey-style shirt. Suspect #3 is described as a Black female with long hair, last seen in a white dress with fishnet straps.
York Regional Police thanked the Toronto Police Service for their assistance at the scene and for providing first-aid to the victim. Investigators are asking anyone with information, surveillance video, or dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
