Warrant Issued for Man in King Township Assault and Break and Enter
York Regional Police are seeking a 31-year-old man in connection with an assault and two break and enters in King Township.
York Regional Police Major Crimes Bureau investigators are seeking public assistance in locating Kenion Tapsie, 31, who is wanted for Assault and Break and Enter.
On Saturday, May 23, 2026, at approximately 10:45 p.m., police responded to a residence near Keele Street and Davis Drive in King Township for a reported break and enter. The suspect reportedly attended the residence, assaulted two victims, and fled before police arrived. The following day, the suspect returned to the same residence, committed a break and enter, and fled again prior to police arrival.
Warrants have been issued for Tapsie's arrest. At the time of the offenses, Tapsie was on probation and wanted by both York Regional Police and Kawartha Lakes Police Service. The investigation is ongoing.
