Vaughan Man Charged with Sexual Offences
A former City of Vaughan employee faces charges related to sexual offences against two minors.
A 65-year-old man from Vaughan has been charged with numerous sexual offences against two minors. The charges follow an investigation by the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau.
The incidents reportedly occurred on April 30, 2026, at a community centre in the area of Dufferin Street and Clark Avenue. The victims were approached by an employee and taken to a room, where they were forcibly confined. While attempting to exit the room, one victim was sexually assaulted. Neither victim sustained physical injuries.
The man was charged on May 24, 2026. At the time of his arrest, he was no longer employed by the City of Vaughan. Investigators have released his photo, stating they believe there may be additional victims.
