Third Suspect Arrested in Vaughan Double Homicide
A third suspect has been arrested in connection with a double homicide that occurred in Vaughan on May 13, 2026.
The third suspect in a Vaughan double homicide has been arrested. On May 13, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m., officers responded to reports of shots fired near Kaiser Drive and Forest Drive. Two males were found outside a residence with multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased.
Police were also dispatched to Huntington Road and Kirby Road for a blue SUV that had been abandoned and set on fire. Investigators confirmed this SUV was used by suspects before and after the shooting and was reported stolen from Toronto.
Three men were identified as occupants of the SUV. On May 28, 2026, two men were charged. On June 4, 2026, the third suspect, Gerard Murray, 48, of Windsor, was arrested in Windsor. He faces two counts of First-Degree Murder and Arson Causing Property Damage. The investigation is ongoing.
