York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau is seeking to identify a suspect and appealing for witnesses after an assault in Vaughan. The incident occurred on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, just before 5:30 p.m., in the area of Tami Court and Bathurst Street.

Police responded to a report that a youth was assaulted by an unknown male suspect while walking on a forested pathway connecting Lady Nadia Drive and Rivermill Crescent. The suspect was last seen fleeing northbound near Lady Nadia Drive. The victim did not sustain physical injuries.

The suspect is described as a male, 30 to 40 years old, last seen wearing a dark blue shirt, a grey and blue jacket, running shoes, and a black medical mask.

Investigators are asking anyone with surveillance or dashcam video from the area at the time of the incident to contact police.
