Police Seek Suspects in Vaughan Home Invasion

York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit investigators are appealing for witnesses to identify at least three suspects connected to a home invasion in Vaughan.

The incident occurred on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at approximately 2:30 a.m. Three suspects reportedly forced entry into a residence near Martin Grove Road and Jackman Crescent. One suspect was armed with a hatchet. The suspects threatened the homeowners and demanded cash, then fled with jewelry. No injuries were reported.

Police believe this was a targeted incident and state there is no ongoing threat to public safety. Suspect descriptions include three males, aged 17 to 19, with varying complexions and heights, wearing dark clothing and masks. One suspect was described as wearing glasses with black frames, another a ski mask and carrying a hatchet with an orange handle, and a third a grey hoodie with a black zip-up jacket.
