Police Seek Identification of Suspects in Richmond Hill Commercial Robbery
York Regional Police are seeking public assistance to identify at least two suspects involved in a commercial robbery in Richmond Hill.
On Sunday, July 5, 2026, at 3:20 p.m., officers responded to a commercial robbery near High Tech Road and Red Maple Road. Two suspects, armed with at least one metal object, entered a store and smashed glass cases.
The suspects took electronics before leaving in a black Ford F250 pick-up truck, driven by a third suspect. The truck was determined to be stolen from Toronto and was last seen traveling southbound on Highway 404. No injuries were reported.
Suspect #1 is described as a white male, 30 to 40 years old, approximately 5’6” tall, wearing an orange T-shirt, white shoes, grey pants, a black and white hat, a medical mask, and gloves. He has a tattoo on his right forearm with four large characters.
Suspect #2 is described as a white male, 30 to 40 years old, approximately 5’6” tall, wearing a dark blue T-shirt, blue jeans, white shoes, and a black hat. He has a large floral tattoo on his left upper arm area. No description was obtained for the driver.
