Police Issue Warning Regarding Condo Break-ins in York Region

York Regional Police have issued a renewed public warning following two reported incidents where suspects scouted condominium units before committing break and enters. The incidents occurred in Markham and Richmond Hill. Unidentified suspects reportedly gained entrance into condominium and apartment buildings and applied a glue-like substance to unit doors. The suspects later returned to check the glue's condition to determine if units were occupied before committing break and enters.

Police advise owners and tenants to be aware of this technique and to report any suspicious persons or activities to police, condo management, or building superintendents.
