Police Investigate Shooting in Georgina
York Regional Police are investigating a shooting that damaged a house and vehicle in Georgina.
York Regional Police's Firearms Investigations Team is seeking public assistance after a shooting occurred at a residence in Georgina. On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, before 4:20 a.m., police responded to reports of gunshots on Clarlyn Drive, near Clarlyn Drive and Lake Drive. Officers found a house and a vehicle damaged by gunfire.
No injuries were reported. Currently, no suspect or suspect vehicle information is available. Investigators believe the house was the intended target and state there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
Investigators are asking anyone with surveillance video or dashcam video from the area at the time of the shooting to come forward.
