Markham Psychologist Charged in Sexual Assault Investigation
A 61-year-old Markham psychologist has been charged following a sexual assault investigation.
Investigators with the York Regional Police Special Victims Unit have charged a 61-year-old Markham psychologist. The charge follows a sexual assault investigation involving a youth.
On June 29, 2026, the victim attended an appointment with a psychologist at a clinic near John Street and Bayview Avenue in Markham. During this appointment, the victim received a massage and was touched inappropriately. The victim did not sustain physical injuries.
On July 4, 2026, Farrokh SEDIGH-DEILAMI, 61, of Markham, was charged. Police are releasing his image, stating they believe there may be additional victims.
