Investigators with the York Regional Police #5 District Criminal Investigations Bureau have charged an Innisfil man with multiple offences after an arson in Whitchurch-Stouffville.

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 3:18 p.m., police and Central York Fire Services responded to reports of an industrial building fire in the area of Warden Avenue and Aurora Road. A large amount of smoke was observed at the scene. The premise sustained damage estimated to be up to $1 million. No injuries were reported.
