The Little Sprouts Workshop: Creative Nature Workshop for Children (Fall Edition)

The Little Sprouts Workshop is a 90-minute, hands-on, interactive session where children start their journey to becoming lifelong stewards of our planet. The experience follows a two-part style, starting with the guided Creative Connection portion that uses art, imagination, and letters to bond with the participants’ favourite animal, touching upon what makes a healthy habitat and the importance of plants. 

This is followed by the Hands-on Action portion where they plant a seed in their own customizable pot while learning about the powerful life cycle of a plant, turning their creative connection into a tangible act of caring for the planet—the habitat of their favourite animal. By the end of the workshop, the participants will leave with their letter, art, and pot—a living reminder of their positive impact.

Please note: this program is best suited to children between ages 6 and 12. We ask that those under 10 be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Healing Sprout is a youth-led organization aiming to nurture a powerful relationship with nature in children, and help adults to transform their eco-worry into action through art, advocacy, and hands-on restoration.
