This practical program is designed to help business owners understand and manage their tax responsibilities in Canada. Participants will learn about key tax deadlines, how tax installments work, and how to use their MyCRA account effectively.

- How to pay yourself in a tax-efficient way, including the pros and cons of salary versus dividends.
- Explores retirement savings options tailored for entrepreneurs.
- Gain clarity on what business expenses are deductible and how to track them properly, such as common write-offs like vehicle expenses and meals and entertainment.
๐คAbout the Presenter:
Sajjad, CPA and ACCA, is a finance and accounting professional with over 13 yearsโ experience. His career started at Ernst & Young helping owner managed businesses with their accounting and tax needs. He then continued his career as a Senior Accountant at PepsiCo Canada. Thereafter, he managed a finance team at a private owner managed startup in the telecoms industry. His focus was helping the owners understand how the business was performing and how they could improve their business. This inspired him to venture out on his own and help clients save tax and use accounting information to improve their profitability.
