Songwriting Crash Course - A Creative Songwriting Workshop

Join Carol Teal, is an award-winning songwriter, for an enjoyable dive into songwriting. Whether you are an experienced songwriter or have never written a song you are welcome. No experience needed. No musical instrument needed but you are welcome to bring it if you play one.

We will talk about the songwriting process, lyrics, and melody, do some writing during the

workshop and share whatever songs (or parts of songs) make an appearance! Carol believes we are all born with creative genius and have developed a “song sense” through

repeated exposure to music all our lives. Give yourself permission to explore the wonderful

musical journey of songwriting. It is sure to add melody to your days and a spring to your step whether your songs are happy or the blues. It's a form of creative expression that leads with whatever is in your heart and mind. Songs stick in our memory long after the lyrics fade. Just think of how many choruses you can sing!

Carol and the group will give gentle and supportive feedback on your creations to encourage you to take them to the next level. Join us and get your songwriting mojo flowing! Follow up sessions could be available to expand your songwriting repertoire if there is interest.
