About This Event

Learn how to preserve your memories by converting 35mm slides or negatives into high resolution digital images. This demonstration introduces the process of scanning 35mm slides, and AI-powered restoration/modification techniques to remove deterioration and correcting the images' colours. Participants will leave with the knowledge needed to begin digitizing and restoring their own slide collections.

Learning outcomes:

  • Learn how to scan and digitize 35mm slides (or negatives) using Makerspace equipment
  • Use AI tools to enhance scanned images by correcting colour and removing common imperfections

Note: Program may allow drop-in participants, if space allows.
