About This Event
This program helps students develop important thinking skills that carry beyond the game board. Through chess and other strategy games, children learn to slow down, think ahead, and make decisions with intention. They practice patience, problem-solving, and handling mistakes in a low-pressure, supportive environment.
Rather than focusing on winning, the emphasis is on understanding choices, learning from outcomes, and building confidence through earned decisions. Skills that support learning, focus, and resilience in everyday life.
