Robotic Competition

Experiment, Play, Create, Compete!

The MIMS Robotics Competition features a $1,750 prize pool and offers an exciting VEX IQ Robotics Challenge designed for both beginner and advanced participants aged 13–18.

Working in teams of up to eight (8), participants will design, build, and program a robot capable of driving and launching projectiles. Robots will be tested in a custom-built arena featuring knockdown targets and baskets worth different point values.

Each team will compete in three rounds, with five minutes per round to score as many points as possible. Additional awards will be presented to teams that demonstrate exceptional creativity, innovation, and engineering design.

At the end of the competition, teams with the highest overall scores will receive the following prizes:

1st Place: $1,000

2nd Place: $500

3rd Place: $250
