About This Event
Share Your Knowledge. Inspire the Next Generation.
Aurora Public Library is proud to host the Mentoring Plus Strategy on September 8th 11:30-1:00 pm.
The Mentoring Plus Strategy connects retired and near-retired adults (55+) with students in Grades 9–12 through meaningful mentorship and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
Your lifetime of experience can make a lasting difference. Whether your background is in business, the skilled trades, healthcare, education, technology, the arts, public service, or another field, your knowledge can help young people build confidence, explore career pathways, and prepare for their future.
Why Become a Mentor?
- Share your skills, knowledge, and life experience.
- Support students with personal growth and career exploration.
- Make a positive impact on the next generation.
- Build meaningful intergenerational connections.
- Continue contributing to a stronger, more vibrant community.
Knowledge is infinite... Share yours!
Everyone has something valuable to offer. By sharing your experience, you'll help shape the future while enriching your own life through meaningful connections.
