About This Event
Join us the APL this september to learn the exciting world of coding through Scratch! In this beginner-friendly program, participants will learn fundamental coding concepts while creating their very own video game: Brick Breaker.
Through hands-on activities, participants will explore programming concepts such as sequences, loops, conditionals, variables and events. They’ll put these skills into practice by designing game elements, programming player controls, creating movement and collisions, keeping score, and adding challenges to their game.
By the end of the program, participants will have a playable Brick Breaker game that they designed and coded themselves, along with a strong foundation of the building blocks of programming.
No prior coding experience is required—just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to experiment!
