Echoes of Truth: Hands-On Beading & Indigenous Teachings

In recognition of the upcoming National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, join us on September 9^th at 6:30 pm for a hands-on cultural learning experience guided by Carol and Janis. Participants will explore Indigenous craft traditions through the creation of medicine bags and beading in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Following the workshop, Carol will share the Bundle Teachings, offering participants an opportunity to learn about the significance of sacred medicines, Indigenous storytelling, and the traditions and values they represent.

This program offers an opportunity for learning, creativity, and respectful reflection as part of Aurora Public Library's ongoing commitment to Truth and Reconciliation.
