About This Event

Whether you are an experienced writer or just starting this workshop creates an atmosphere of exploration and validation in bringing your words to the page. A writer is someone who writes. Based on the Amherst Writers and Artists method that ensures all writers are valued and affirmed in a supportive community.

In partnership with The Writers' Community of York Region (WCYR).

About the Facilitator:

Carol Teal writes memoir, nonfiction and fiction and loves helping other writers get their stories on the page. Through workshops that generate new ideas, and book coaching writers working on longer projects, she helps writers craft stories from life and imagination. A firm believer in life-long learning, she completed her MFA in Creative Writing in 2022. She has also completed Book Coaching certifications in Memoir and Fiction through Author Accelerator, a premier organization in Book Coaching.

Carol believes we are all born with creative genius and welcomes you to join her in exploring your muse in a fun, creative, supportive writing environment.

Registration will open on Eventbrite on August 12!
