Building Helpful Relationships

The Healthy Relationships workshop series aims to equip youth with personal boundaries, self-awareness, empowerment, and essential relationship skills. The series also examines indicators of unhealthy and helpful relationships and is delivered within a youth-friendly and youth safe space. This in collaboration with Women’s Support Network York Region.

May 6 - Helpful Relationships: what healthy/helpful and unhealthy/unhelpful relationships look like, statistical facts about abuse, the cycle of abuse

May 12 - Setting Boundaries and Self-care

May 20 - Consent - what it entails and the legal aspects of consent.

May 26 - Staying safe: digital safety, social safety, substance use safety and more.
